The Adjusting Group was formed in May 2002 following the acquisition of Associated Marine Adjusters., and Clancey, Sons & Stacey, by the London based Vanguard Adjusting Company.

Clancey Vanguard , is a new entity encompassing Vanguard Adjusting Company., and the London and Glasgow based Clancey, Sons & Stacey, a long-established family business which was founded in 1888.

Associated Marine Adjusters., was formed in Piraeus in 1989 by a team of four experienced adjusters. This company has expanded to become the leading average adjusting company in Piraeus today.

Clancey Vanguard Pte Ltd., based in Singapore, was set up in August 2001 by Vanguard Adjusting Co. Ltd to consolidate its activities in the Far East.

The Adjusting Group is characterised by its unique blend of traditional expertise and values, combined with its strong local presence and close client contact in major marine centres.
 



Our raison d’etre is to offer a proactive response from the first notification of a casualty through to the final claim settlement.
This can involve liason with towage and salvage brokers, lawyers, surveyors, insurance brokers, collection of General Average and salvage security, investigating the cause of damage to establish a claim on the insurance policies, preparing recommendations for payment(s) on
account to assist the shipowner to defray the cost of repairs and the supply of major spare parts.
